
This Wednesday, coach Otto Addo unveiled Ghana's list of 26 players to face Mali and the Central African Republic in June.
On June 6 and 10, the Black Stars will face Mali (in Bamako) and the Central African Republic in Kumasi respectively for the matches of the 3rd and 4th days in Group I of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana's list for these two matches was revealed by the coach during a press conference this Thursday. André Ayew, the captain, is not summoned. Thomas Partey returns to the national team. Ibrahim Sulemana (Cagliari defensive midfielder, 21) and Brandon Thomas-Asante (West Bromwich Albion striker, 25) were called up for the first time.
After two days in Group I of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, Ghana occupies 2nd place with 4 points.
